Souldern Parish Council Is looking to appoint a new

Parish Clerk

to assist Councillors in the day to day running of Parish Business and protect our beautiful village with its unique historical and agricultural heritage.

The flexible working hours are salaried and cover a wide variety of tasks in the local community including:

  • Ensuring that the legal and statutory provisions affecting the Council’s activities are observed
  • Managing all postal and electronic communications for the Council and liaising with public bodies and agencies (a laptop will be provided)
  • Preparing the agenda, taking and writing up minutes of meetings
  • Posting notices, agendas etc to website and notice boards in the Parish
