The Green to M40

Bridleway map

Originally connecting the village to Upper Souldern Grounds and the Somerton Road, this bridleway is now cut by the M40. The triangle of land at its junction with the lane to Souldern Grounds forms “The Pound”.

The track is mostly a good track between two fields

Although it is little used these days other than for farm access, so can get muddy in places!

It ends somewhat abruptly at a clump of trees, within sight of the motorway.
