He was killed in action on 15 June 1918 in the Battle of the Piave, fighting on the Asiago Plateau. He was 19 He was the son of Frederick and Fanny Robbins of Souldern He is buried in plot 3 row A grave 14 Boscon British Cemetery, Italy.
