Wharf Farm to Clifton

Bridleway map

Starting from the track leaving Wharf Farm at the end of Wharf lane, this bridleway crosses fields emerging just outside Clifton village by the bridge over the Cherwell.

Looking north along the canal from the bridge at Wharf Farm.

The path then heads straight across the fields passing two small brooks.

The bridge over the second stream. (This is also the Parish boundary.)

After the second bridge, bear right across the field towards the road bridge over the Cherwell.

The sign back to Souldern, from the road bridge outside the Clifton.

Walking along the road towards Aynho will bring you to the canal at Aynho Wharf, and routes back to Souldern along the towpath or the path to Souldern Mill.
