He was killed in action on 8 May 1917 during the Battle of Doiran. He was 29 He was the son of Joseph and Mary Robbins of Oxford and the husband of Ethel Alice Robbins, 3 Tichborne Row, Paddington. He is remembered on the Doiran Memorial, Macedonia.
