Church Lane to B4100

The path starts at the steps and stile just before the entrance to the Church on Church lane.

Climb up the hill of Great House Close field (site of the original Manor House), with good views of the Church.

A stile at the top of the field. From there a little used footpath follows a field boundary to the B4100 road.

The path was probably originally to the right of this hedge but that is not passable, but you may walk along the edge of the Old Rectory field.

Good views over the Old Rectory towards Aynhoe Park.

The Stile leads on to the B4100.

It is best to return the same way, there is no other route to this point recommended for pedestrian access.
